I’m gonna try to get into the habit of posting my profile picture just ‘cause.
So.. Here’s the current one. Late, but still.
Took it at 2am after the San Diego Latino Film Festival’s opening party at Club Sevilla (party was the 7th.). Friends and I got in VIP.. for free. XP

I know it’s blurry. Meh. I swear my left eye looks kinda green, though. There wasn’t anything green nearby, either; eyeshadow was light purple. I promise I looked better than the picture might suggest; we got rained on. The necklace is my grandma’s rosary. Since her passing, I wear it in her honor whenever I leave the confines of my home.

16 October 2012: Long story short, this is what I get for wanting to get tested for HIV and syphilis. Of course, I’d rather not have any type of STI or STD.. But still. Ow.

The picture on the left was taken eight hours after I had my blood drawn. The redness around the injection site is, apparently, an allergic reaction to the tape that was used to keep the gauze in place.
Picture on the right is 24 hours (17 Oct 2012) after having a tube of my blood sucked outta me.

I don’t know if I did anything wrong, in terms of aftercare, but it hurt a lot yesterday. Its just a little sensitive now. And ugly. Ew, look at it!

Only posting a picture of myself ‘cause I have glasses now. Well, I should’ve been wearing them since I was 13, but I didn’t like the frames. But I like these ones!
I also wanted to publicly clear something up: my hair color. About a year and a half ago, I dyed my hair “Starry Night” by Feria. If you look that up, it’s a black / blue color. Apparently, the shit L’Oreal uses in their Feria line of at home hair dye never stops working. Thus, the reaction it had with my hair resulted in it lightening itself until it turned blondish / copper with some reddish in it. I did not “ombre” my hair. What you see is, in reality, 18+ months of hair growth; my roots. But people love it. I’ve gotten complimented (by random people, too) on how well done my ombre is. “Better than at a salon” I’ve been told. They’ve all been floored when I tell them it was a mistake. I actually hate it. But he likes it. Then again, I miss and love my natural hair color. I just wanted something different.. Darker, not lighter.
Also, I’m not really that pale.. I hope. I just didn’t use flash.
