Sliced and baked into a rich, creamy gratin, sauteed with smoky bacon, or whipped until fluffy and seasoned with herbs or creme fraiche, potatoes are the most satisfying part of the Thanksgiving meal. We’ve got Thanksgiving ideas for bringing new life to the staple.
I need to make all of these.
I need to not follow so many food blogs.
My future step-mother is German. She had lived her whole life in Germany up until a few months ago. Until further notice, she’ll be living with my dad in Mexico. They’re not planning on living in a border town after they wed, either. More like Cancun or someplace similar.
The woman doesn’t like Mexican food.
My evening (most of my day) has consisted of grapes, chocolate milk, a carne asada burrito, and a Star Wars marathon that started yesterday (Episodes 4, 5, 2, 3, and 6).
Hopefully, I’ll have internet again soon, ‘cause I miss having Wi-Fi.
My future step mother flew in from Germany tonight. J and I picked her up from the airport amid an unexpected mess. Her first American meal?
Dinner was amazing. Wish I had multiple stomachs.
Props to the family.
I know my mom loves me when I can convince her to add chocolate chips to the last of the pancake batter.
